Googlebot never gets in

We block Google twice. Once at the edge, again on the server. Neither block depends on the other one working:

Cloudflare rule blocking UA containing Google — Edge rule. Any user agent with “Google” in it is turned away before it reaches us.

Nginx config blocking Googlebot — Server rule. The same signature is refused again, on its own.

Google never sees these pages. So nothing sitting on them can touch how your own domain is judged. Your indexing stays exactly where it is.
